As the economy of India is turning for the better, it changes the lifestyle of the Indian peoples. Now a days Indians are emphasizing more and more on quality with utility. In every weekends traveling and outings becomes a growing trend. These Sport Utility Vehicles helps them to support these changes in people's lifestyles. So every car manufacturer is looking to launch either a new or a revamped version of existing SUV in the Indian market.
The very first in the line is the undisputed king of the SUVs in India, Mahindra who launched its most anticipated world SUV, XUV 500 in the market on September 29th. Since after the launch the new Mahindra XUV 500 price is the attractive feature. The new global XUV 500 is available at Rs 10.80 lakh (ex showroom Delhi). This latest member of Mahindra gets such an overwhelming response that company has to stop the further bookings. Now from the next month the bookings of new Mahindra XUV 500 starts again.

Its not enough for the Mahindra and it launched the refreshed of its rugged Mahindra Bolero in India in three variants, Mahindra Bolero SLE, Mahindra Bolero SLX and Mahindra Bolero ZLX. These new variants of Mahindra Bolero ranges between Rs 6.19 lakh – Rs 6.96 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This new rugged vehicle sports new features like 2WD, new headlamps, new grill, new bumper, dual tone seats, digital instrument cluster and driver info system. Apart from it the new Mahindra Bolero offers much improved mileage than the predecessor.
Looking at this the Toyota India is all set to compete with the Mahindra by launching the refreshed version of its premium SUV Toyota Fortuner. It is expected that the car will launch during the 2012 Auto Expo. Toyota Fortuner facelift is speculated to adorn the same 3 liter D-4D diesel engine, which capable of producing maximum power of 170 bhp and a peak torque of 343 Nm. Further it is expected that this new variant will undergo some cosmetic changes specifically the interiors. Further Toyota is looking tag it competitively to compete the Mahindra in every sense. Besides this the Mahindra Xylo mini is also among the popular SUV's in the market.




In addition to it another fish Force Motors has debuted the Indian car market with its SUV Force One. It was launched by the super star Amitabh Bachchan, later who has chosen as the Brand Ambassador of the brand. Only one variant of the SUV Force One is in the market. Company has tagged it at Rs 10.65 lakh(ex showroom Mumbai).
